A method of analysing a vehicle wheel comprising a tyre of a predetermined configuration and a thixotropic balancing substance, comprising rotating the vehicle wheel with a predetermined number of revolutions for a period of time, wherein a tread surface of the tyre is pressed in a first contact area against a rotatable drum with a predetermined force, and a first acceleration in the first contact area is measured with a measuring device; rotating another vehicle wheel comprising another tyre of the predetermined configuration with the predetermined number of revolutions for another period of time, the other vehicle wheel being conventionally balanced and having another residual unbalance, wherein another tread surface of the other tyre is pressed in a second contact area against the rotatable drum with the predetermined force, and a second acceleration in the second contact area is measured with the measuring device and if the first acceleration is less than or equal to the second acceleration, determining that the vehicle wheel is balanced. An apparatus, and a system, for analysing a vehicle wheel comprising a tyre of a predetermined configuration and a thixotropic balancing substance according to the method.
L'invention porte sur un procédé d'analyse d'une roue de véhicule comprenant un pneu d'une configuration prédéterminée et une substance d'équilibrage thixotrope, le procédé comprenant la rotation de la roue de véhicule à un nombre prédéterminé de tours pendant une période de temps, une surface de bande de roulement du pneu étant pressée dans une première zone de contact contre un tambour rotatif avec une force prédéterminée, et une première accélération dans la première zone de contact étant mesurée avec un dispositif de mesure ; la rotation d'une autre roue de véhicule comprenant un autre pneu de la configuration prédéterminée, le nombre prédéterminé de tours pendant une autre période de temps, l'autre roue de véhicule étant équilibrée de façon classique et ayant un autre déséquilibre résiduel, une autre surface de bande de roulement de l'autre pneu étant pressée dans une seconde zone de contact contre le tambour rotatif avec la force prédéterminée, et une seconde accélération dans la seconde zone de contact étant mesurée avec le dispositif de mesure, et, si la première accélération est inférieure ou égale à la seconde accélération, la détermination que la roue de véhicule est équilibrée. L'invention porte en outre sur un appareil et sur un système pour analyser une roue de véhicule comprenant un pneu d'une configuration prédéterminée et une substance d'équilibrage thixotrope, selon le procédé.
