A method and apparatus for managing power in a hybrid vehicle is disclosed. The vehicle includes an engine, an electric motor, and an energy storage element coupled to the motor. The method involves receiving a request to supply operating power to drive the vehicle and responding to the request by selecting an apportionment of operating power between the engine and the motor from among a plurality of apportionments having respective operating costs such that the selected apportionment is associated with a minimum operating cost, the operating cost including at least an engine fuel consumption cost and a storage element lifetime cost. The method further involves causing power to be supplied by at least one of the engine and the motor in accordance with the selected apportionment.
L'invention concerne un procédé et un appareil destinés à la gestion de l'énergie dans un véhicule hybride. Le véhicule comprend un moteur thermique, un moteur électrique et un élément de stockage d'énergie couplé au moteur électrique. Le procédé consiste à recevoir une demande en énergie pour actionner le véhicule et à répondre à cette demande en sélectionnant une répartition d'énergie entre le moteur thermique et le moteur électrique parmi une pluralité de répartitions présentant des coûts d'exploitation respectifs, de sorte que la répartition sélectionnée soit associée à un coût d'exploitation minimal, le coût d'exploitation comprenant au moins un coût en termes de consommation de carburant et un coût en termes d'autonomie de l'élément de stockage. Le procédé consiste également à distribuer l'énergie produite par le moteur thermique et/ou le moteur électrique en fonction de la répartition sélectionnée.
