Transmitters (116) for transmitting information and receivers (126) for receiving the information are defined by the information comprising a primary message and a secondary message combined in a same transmission or a same reception, which primary and secondary messages comprise communication protocol signaling messages, to avoid that a protocol conversion arrangement needs to be added to and to be placed between the transmitter (116) and the receiver (126). This increases the efficiency of the transmitter (116) and the receiver (126). The primary and secondary communication protocol messages are in accordance with first and second standards such as 802.11 a and later standards such as 802.11 n. The receiver (126) is able to detect the primary or secondary communication protocol message in case of the receiver (126) being in accordance with the first or second standard. The secondary message is embedded in the primary message via a modulation or via a selection of a subset of a set of a modulation constellation.
L'invention concerne des émetteurs (116) pour la transmission d'information et des récepteurs (126) pour la réception de cette information, définis en ce que l'information comporte des messages primaire et secondaire combinés dans une même transmission ou une même réception, ces messages comportant à leur tour des messages de signalisation de protocole de communication, afin d'éviter qu'il soit nécessaire d'ajouter un système de conversion de protocole et de le placer entre l'émetteur (116) et le récepteur (126). On augmente ainsi l'efficacité de l'émetteur (116) et du récepteur (126). Les messages de signalisation primaire et secondaire sont conformes à des première et seconde normes, à savoir par exemple 802.11a et ultérieurement à des normes du type 802.11 n. Le récepteur (126) est capable de détecter les messages de signalisation primaire et secondaire en question lorsque le récepteur (126) est conforme à la première norme ou à la seconde norme. Le message secondaire est imbriqué dans le message primaire via une modulation ou via une sélection de sous-ensemble dans un ensemble de constellation de modulation.
