ABSTRACT A method, device, and arrangement in a paper machine for regulating the control of the transverse profile or profiles of properties of a paper web produced therein. Water is removed from the paper web under compression between two forming wires by making use of dewatering and/or forming ribs. The deflection of the dewatering and/or forming ribs in the transverse direction of the web is regulated thereby affecting the retention profile of the paper web in the cross direction. By regulating the deflection of the dewatering and/or forming ribs, the transverse fiber- orientation profile and/or the filler profile of the paper web is influenced through the control of the transverse retention profile of the web. 37
Cette invention concerne une méthode, un dispositif et un arrangement pour la régulation des caractéristiques de profil transversal d'une bande de papier produite dans une machine à papier. L'eau est extraite de la bande de papier comprimée entre deux toiles de formation au moyen de nervures de séchage et/ou de formation. La flexion transversale des nervures de séchage/formation est régulée pour modifier le profil de rétention d'eau de la bande de papier dans le sens travers. En modulant la flexion transversale desdites nervures, l'orientation transversale des fibres et/ou le profil de distribution des charges de la bande de papier peuvent être modifiés par le biais du profil de rétention d'eau transversal de la bande de papier.
