The invention relates to controlling of a user interface of an electronic device (100). On a secondary display (104) of the electronic device (100), a list of executable applications is displayed. A selection for selecting a specific application is received from the user. When the user mechanically sets the electronic device (100) from transport state to principal operational state, a primary display of the electronic device (100) is taken into use. In principal operational state, a predetermined function relating to the user's selection is performed in the electronic device (100), whereby information relating to the procedure is displayed on the primary display of the electronic device (100).

Sur un afficheur secondaire (104) du dispositif électronique (100) s'affiche la liste des applications exécutables. Une sélection permettant de choisir une application spécifique est reçue de l'utilisateur. Lorsque l'utilisateur fait basculer mécaniquement le dispositif électronique (100) du mode de transport au mode de fonctionnement principal, un afficheur primaire du dispositif électronique (100) s'active. Lorsque le dispositif électronique est sur le mode de fonctionnement principal, une fonction prédéterminée relative à la sélection de l'utilisateur est appliquée au dispositif électronique (100), les informations relatives à la procédure s'affichant alors sur l'affichage primaire du dispositif électronique (100).
