The invention concerns a method for three-dimensional modelling of a geological volume, which consists in defining cells adapted to the critical surfaces of the geological volume to be modelled; defining an assembly of polyhedral macrocells (M) adapted to the geometry (1) of the geological layers of the volume to be modelled; parametering the geological space to match the observed geological domain and a parametric domain by associating with a point belonging to the geological domain an image point located in the parametric domain; then defining a virtual subdivision of said polyhedral macrocells (M) into hexahedral microcells (m) whereof the geometry is obtained by subdividing the geometry of each macrocell (M).
Dans un procédé de modélisation tridimensionnelle d'un volume géologique, on définit des cellules adaptées aux surfaces critiques du volume géologique à modéliser. On définit un ensemble de macrocellules polyédriques (M) adaptées à la géométrie (1) des couches géologiques du volume à modéliser. On effectue un paramétrage de l'espace géologique pour mettre en correspondance le domaine géologique étudié et un domaine paramétrique en associant à un point appartenant au domaine géologique un point image situé dans le domaine paramétrique. On définit ensuite une subdivision virtuelle desdites macrocellules polyédriques (M) en microcellules hexaédriques (m) dont la géométrie est obtenue par subdivision de la géométrie de chaque macrocellule.
