An apparatus and a method for processing of three components, 3-Dimensions seismic (3-C, 3-D) data acquired by down-hole receivers and surface seismic sources. Automatic velocity analysis is used to identify the velocities of dominant events in a VSP panel. Different wave-types (downgoing P, downgoing PS, upcoming PS and upcoming PP) are identified and sequentially re-moved.

L'invention concerne un appareil et un procédé de traitement de données sismiques en trois dimensions à trois composants (3C, 3D) acquises par des récepteurs en bas de trou et des sources sismiques de surface. Une analyse de vitesse automatique est utilisée pour identifier les vitesses d'événements dominants dans un panel VSP. Différents types d'ondes (P descendante, PS descendantes, PS montante et PP montante) sont identifiés et séquentiellement supprimés.
