Described is a method for analysing DNA of a sweetpotato, characterised in by the following steps :- providing DNA of a sweetpotato, - physically breaking said DNA into DNA pieces, - introducing known sequences at at least one of the two ends of each DNA piece, - providing at least two primers, a first primer, a first primer according to the formula (I) wherein Nx is selected from A, C, G and T; n is 0 to 20; N1 is G, or not present ; or a complementary sequence thereto ; and a second primer being able to anneal to the introduced sequence, - amplifying DNA of the DNA pieces with said primers and - analysing said amplified DNA.

L'invention concerne une méthode d'analyse de l'ADN de la patate douce. Cette méthode consiste à obtenir de l'ADN d'une patate douce, à casser physiquement l'ADN en morceaux d'ADN, à introduire les séquences connues à au moins une des deux extrémités de chaque morceau d'ADN, à obtenir au moins deux amorces, une première amorce, une première amorce répondant à la formule générale (I) dans laquelle Nx représente un élément sélectionné dans le groupe comprenant A, C, G et T; n est compris entre 0 et 20; N¿1? représente G, T, A ou est absent; N¿2? représente A, C, G ou est absent ; N¿3? représente A, C, G ou est absent ; ou une séquence qui lui est complémentaire; et une seconde amorce capable de s'apparier avec la séquence introduite, à amplifier l'ADN des morceaux d'ADN avec lesdites amorces et à analyser ledit ADN amplifié.
