The invention concerns a method for anti-missile protection of vehicles having a very short reaction time practically without any false alarm and not requiring resorting to means such as decoys or conventional laser scramblers, while providing the best possible protection. The invention is characterized in that it consists in creating at least a curtain of plasma filaments (7) between said vehicles (5) and the probable firing point (9) of said missiles, said curtain being designed to blind the device designating the target of the missiles.

La présente invention est relative à un procédé de protection antimissiles de véhicules ayant un temps de réaction très court sans pratiquement aucune fausse alarme et ne nécessitant pas le recours à des moyens tels que des leurres ou à des brouilleurs laser classiques, tout en offrant une protection la meilleure possible. Il est caractérisé en ce que l'on crée au moins un rideau de filaments de plasma (7) entre ces véhicules (5) et le pas de tir probable (9) de ces missiles, ce rideau étant destiné à aveugler le dispositif de désignation d'objectif des missiles.
