The invention relates to a method for applying a coating to a surface of a material while using electrophotography. According to the invention, a supporting material provided with a photoconductive layer is provided with an electrostatic charge pattern, a coating material is applied to the supporting material with the aid of electrostatic forces, and the coating material is applied to the subject to be coated. In order to produce high-quality surface coatings, the invention provides that at least the duromer constituents consisting of a resin and of a hardener are applied, together or in succession, as a coating material to the supporting material.
L'invention concerne un procédé permettant d'appliquer un revêtement sur la surface d'une pièce, par électrophotographie. Un support muni d'une couche photoconductrice est pourvu d'une image de charge électrostatique. Un matériau de revêtement est appliqué sur le support à l'aide de forces électrostatiques. Le matériau de revêtement est appliqué sur la pièce à recouvrir. Pour produire des revêtements superficiels de haute qualité, il est prévu selon l'invention d'appliquer comme matériau de revêtement sur le support, au moins les constituants duromères résine et durcisseur, ensemble ou l'un après l'autre.
