The invention relates to a method for easily applying a solid electrolytic layer to a porous electrode (6) with complex surface geometry for a solid oxide fuel cell. The especially tubularly embodied electrode (6) is immersed in a suspension (4) containing solid constituents (F, G) made from a solid electrolytic material. Preferably, a pressure difference is created so that a solvent (L) contained in the suspension (4) infiltrates the electrode (6) cavity (10) and is extracted therefrom. The thickness of the deposited layer of solid matter (32) is determined by the quantity of extracted solvent (L).

L'objectif de l'invention est de faciliter l'application d'une couche d'électrolyte solide sur une électrode poreuse (6) présentant une géométrie superficielle complexe et destinée à une pile à combustible en céramique solide. A cet effet, l'électrode (6), de forme notamment tubulaire, est plongée dans une suspension (4) qui présente des constituants solides (FG) formés de matériau d'électrolyte solide. De préférence, une différence de pression est établie de sorte qu'un solvant (L) contenu dans la suspension (4) pénètre dans la zone intérieure (10) de l'électrode (6), d'où il est aspiré. La quantité de solvant (L) aspiré permet de déterminer l'épaisseur de la couche de solide (32) déposée.
