A more efficient method of improving the feel and appearance of cellulosic-containing fabric prior to finishing which method comprises contacting the fabric with a cellulase solution under pressure, and under conditions wherein the solution cascades across the fabric, and under conditions effective in improving the feel and appearance of the cellulosic-containing fabric.

L'invention a pour objet d'optimiser l'efficacité d'un procédé destiné à améliorer le toucher et l'apparence de tissus cellulosiques avant leur finissage. Ce procédé consiste à mettre le tissu en contact avec une solution de cellulase sous pression, ladite solution traversant le tissu en cascade, dans des conditions permettant d'améliorer le toucher et l'apparence du tissu cellulosique.
