The invention concerns a method for controlling and regulating water quantity in a medium which consists in applying a pulsed unidirectional electric field between one or two electrodes inserted in the treated medium with sequential inversion of the generator polarities, whereby a unidirectional potential difference is established by selecting said field orientation by inversion of the generator polarities to modify the direction of the water draining, the aim being to humidify or drain the treated medium. The electrode can consist of a metallic part already present in the medium. The moisture measuring probes and the treating electrodes are inserted in the medium and connected to the electronic power unit which regulates the predetermined water quantity and maintains it by controlling the operation of the generator. The arrangement of the electrodes and moisture measuring probes is related to the medium and the desired result. The electronic power unit regulates the intensity and voltage depending on different media, influential circumstances or modifications occurring therein. The invention is particularly applicable and efficient in agriculture and the building industry.
Contrôle et régulation du taux d'hydrométrique d'un milieu sur lequel on applique un champ électrique unidirectionnel pulsé entre une ou deux électrodes insérées dans le milieu traité avec une inversion séquentielle des polarités du générateur, où on établit une différence de potentiel unidirectionnel en choisissant l'orientation de ce champ par l'inversion des polarités du générateur pour changer le sens du drainage de l'eau. Le résultat recherché étant l'humidification ou l'assèchement du milieu du traité. L'électrode peut être constituée par une partie métallique existant déjà dans le milieu. Les sondes de mesures d'humidité et les électrodes de traitement sont insérées dans le milieu et reliées à la centrale électronique qui régule le taux d'hydrométrie pré-défini et le maintient en commandant la marche du générateur. La disposition des électrodes et des sondes de mesure d'humidité est liée au milieu et au résultat recherché. La centrale électronique régule l'intensité et la tension en fonction des différents milieux, influences ou changements survenant dans ceux-ci. La présente invention trouve une application particulièrement efficace dans les domaines de l'agriculture et de la construction.
