For the lateral avoidance of a fixed zone (10), the method comprises successively: modelling the contour of the zone to be avoided (10) by a convex polygonal form (11), locating the scheduled route (2) with respect to the modelled zone (11), computing port and starboard route sections for leaving and returning (A1-A2, B1-B2, A3-A4, B3-B4) to the scheduled route (2), forming a predetermined angle (a) with the latter and reaching an angular point (A2, B2, A3, B3) of the contour (11), so as to obtain two avoidance routes, port (B1-B4) and starboard (A1-A4), formed by the leaving and returning route sections and by the portions (A2-A3, B2-B3) of the contour (11), and selecting one (A1-A4) of the two avoidance routes.
Pour l'évitement latéral d'une zone fixe (10), le procédé selon l'invention comprend successivement: la modélisation du contour de la zone à éviter (10) par une forme polygonale convexe (11), la localisation de la route prévue (2) par rapport à la zone modélisée (11), le calcul de tronçons de route bâbord et tribord de sortie et de retour (A1-A2, B1-B2, A3-A4, B3-B4) à la route prévue (2), formant un angle (a) prédéterminé avec celle-ci et rejoignant un point anguleux (A2, B2, A3, B3) du contour (11), de manière à obtenir deux routes d'évitement bâbord (B1-B4) et tribord (A1-A4) formées par les tronçons de route de sortie et de retour et par les portions (A2-A3, B2-B3) du contour (11), et la sélection d'une (A1-A4) des deux routes d'évitement.
