The invention relates to a method for automatically controlling a mining ma- chine. In the method a route is determined for a mining machine (14) in the form of successive, interconnected segments in a coordinate system fixed in relation to the mine, the segments in turn being determined as successive points located at a distance from one another. The location of each point is determined in the coordinate system fixed in relation to the mine and the data associated with the points is sent wirelessly (17) to the mining machine.

L'invention concerne un procédé pour commander automatiquement une machine d'extraction minière. Dans ce procédé, un itinéraire est déterminé pour une machine d'extraction minière (14) sous la forme de segments successifs et interconnectés dans un système de coordonnées fixé en relation avec la mine. Ces segments sont à leur tour déterminés comme plusieurs points successifs disposés à une certaine distance les uns des autres. L'emplacement de chaque point est déterminé dans le système de coordonnées fixé par rapport à la mine, et les données associées à ces points sont envoyées sans fil (17) à la machine d'extraction minière.
