In a method for azimuth scaling of SAR data without interpolation, SAR raw data in azimuth are multiplied with a phase function H5(fa;rO), where fa denotes the azimuth frequency and rO denotes the range to a target point. An azimuth modulation of the SAR data is subsequently adapted with the phase function H5(fa;rO) to that of a reference range, in a manner so that the azimuth modulation no longer depends on the range and is transferred into a pure quadratic phase modulation in order to attain an azimuth processing with a very high phase accuracy, by using deramping with an exactly linear frequency modulation and azimuth FFT.

Dans une méthode de mise à l'échelle en azimut de données SAR sans interpolation, les données brutes SAR en azimut sont multipliées par une fonction de phase H5(fa;rO), où fa indique la fréquence azimutale et rO la distance d'un point cible. Une modulation en azimut des données SAR est par la suite adaptée avec la fonction de phase H5(fa;rO) à celle d'une distance de référence, de façon que la modulation en azimut ne dépende plus de la distance et soit transposée en une pure modulation de phase quadratique afin d'effectuer un traitement en azimut d'une très grande précision de phase, au moyen de la fonction de remise à zéro avec FFT exactement linéaire appliquée à la modulation de fréquence et à l'azimut.
