The invention concerns a method for bactericidal, fungicidal, virucidal and insecticidal treatment of ambient air. Said method consists in circulating air (1) through a permeable container wherein is placed at least a treating agent. The invention is characterised in that the treating agent (2) is used as bactericide, fungicide, virucide and insecticide additionally to mechanical air filtering, and is distributed uniformly inside the container (4) so as to prevent micro-organisms from developing on the container itself. The invention is applicable to calorie-exchanging and air-recycling installations and appliances, and to coating elements of building surfaces.
L'invention a pour objet une méthode pour le traitement bactéricide, fongicide, virucide et insecticide de l'air ambiant. Cette méthode, qui consiste à faire circuler l'air (1) à travers un contenant perméable à l'intérieur duquel est placé au moins un agent traitant, est caractérisée en ce que l'agent traitant (2) est utilisé en tant que bactéricide, fongicide, virucide et insecticide en complément d'une filtration mécanique de l'air, et est réparti uniformément à l'intérieur du contenant (4) de manière à empêcher le développement de micro-organismes sur le contenant lui-même. Applications aux installations et appareils échangeurs de calories ou de recyclage de l'air ambiant, au stockage des déchets ménagers, aux habitacles de véhicule, et aux éléments de revêtement de surface des bâtiments.
