The invention relates to a method for binding particulate, water-absorbing, acid group-containing polymers to a base material using compounds that comprise amino groups. According to the inventive method, the base material is contacted with particulate, water-absorbing, acid group-containing polymers whose acid groups are neutralized to 0 up to not more than 55 mole percent with alkali metal and/or ammonium bases. The degree of neutralization of said polymers is increased to at least 60 mole percent by treating them with amino group-containing polymers. The invention also relates to the use of amino group-containing compounds from the group of the alkanolamines, compounds that contain ethylene imine and/or vinylamine units for neutralizing and for binding particulate, water-absorbing, acid group-containing polymers that are neutralized to 0 up to not more than 55 mole percent with alkali metal and/or ammonium bases, to a base material.
L'invention concerne un procédé de fixation de polymères particulaires hydroabsorbants comportant des groupes acides sur un matériau support au moyen de composés comprenant des groupes amino. Ce procédé consiste à mettre le matériau support en contact avec des polymères particulaires hydroabsorbants comportant des groupes acides dont 0 à 55 % en moles au maximum sont neutralisés au moyen de bases de métal alcalin ou de bases d'ammonium ; puis à augmenter le degré de neutralisation de ces polymères pour qu'il atteigne au moins 60 % en moles, au moyen d'un traitement faisant appel à des composés comportant des groupes amino. L'invention se rapporte en outre à l'utilisation de composés comportant des groupes amino, issus du groupe des composés qui comprennent de l'alcanolamine, des unités éthylèneimine et/ou vinylamine pour neutraliser et fixer, sur un matériau support, des polymères particulaires hydroabsorbants comportant des groupes acides dont 0 à 55 % en moles au maximum sont neutralisés au moyen de bases de métal alcalin ou de bases d'ammonium.
