The invention relates to a method for bleaching fibrous materials, in particular lignin-containing materials for producing paper consisting in adding at least a first additive and at least one type of bleaching liquid to a fibrous solution which contains at list one bleaching agent. After mixing said bleaching solution with the fibrous suspension and at the end of determined bleaching time, the bleaching process is ended by adding at least a second additive. Said invention is characterised in that the pH of the fibrous suspension is obtained by adding lime.

L'invention concerne un procédé pour décolorer des matières fibreuses, notamment des matières fibreuses contenant de la lignine pour la fabrication de papier. Ce procédé consiste à ajouter au moins un premier additif et au moins une solution de décoloration à la suspension fibreuse, cette solution de décoloration contenant au moins un agent de décoloration. Après mélange de la solution de décoloration avec la suspension fibreuse et au bout d'un temps de décoloration donné, le processus de décoloration se termine par l'ajout d'au moins un deuxième additif. L'invention est caractérisée en ce que la mise au point du pH de la suspension fibreuse est effectuée par addition de chaux.
