What is specified is a method for calibrating an inkjet printer (2) with a print head (8) comprising a number of ink ejecting nozzles (10) which can be driven by means of a control signal. In this case, near the time of the intended printing operation, a predefined calibration screen (42) is printed by means of the inkjet printer (2), the value of a measurement parameter characterizing the ink application is determined on the basis of the printed calibration screen (42), and the ink ejection quantity (29) per dot is calibrated by adapting the control signal using the determined value of the measurement parameter. A print product (22) printed by an inkjet printer (2) calibrated in this way is furthermore specified.
L'invention concerne un procédé d'étalonnage d'une imprimante à jet d'encre (2) équipée d'une tête d'impression (8) comprenant une pluralité de buses d'éjection d'encre (10) pouvant être commandées par un signal de commande. Selon ce procédé, une grille d'étalonnage (42) prédéfinie est imprimée au moyen de l'imprimante à jet d'encre (2) peu de temps avant le processus d'impression prévu, la grille d'étalonnage (42) imprimée est utilisée pour déterminer la valeur d'un paramètre de mesure caractéristique de l'application d'encre, puis la valeur déterminée pour ce paramètre de mesure est utilisée pour étalonner la quantité d'encre éjectée (29) par pixel par adaptation du signal de commande.
