The application relates to a method of performing a multi-step reaction vessel (68) having at least two compartments (685, 680) . The reagents are placed in the first compartment (685) and moved to second one (680) by centrifugation, after which another set of reagents may be placed in the first compartment (685) while the reaction in the lower chamber takes place. Once the reaction is complete, the reagents that were in the first compartment (685) may be moved to the lower one (680) by centrifugation. The application also claims a container having a pierceable lower surface and an upper surface with either a pierceable component or a lid. A wand capable of being electrostatically charged, an apparatus comprising such a wand and a method of transferring solid reagents using such a wand is also claimed.
L'invention concerne un procédé permettant la mise en oeuvre d'une réaction en plusieurs étapes, consistant à: 1) introduire un ou plusieurs premiers réactifs dans une cuve à réaction, cette cuve comprenant une chambre supérieure pouvant contenir les réactifs, et s'ouvrant dans une chambre inférieure dans laquelle d'entrée du flux de réactif est restreinte, 2) appliquer une force centrifuge sur ladite cuve à réaction afin de provoquer le passage du ou des premiers réactifs dans la chambre inférieure, 3) introduire un réactif additionnel dans la première chambre et fermer ladite chambre, 4) soumettre au moins une des deux chambres à des conditions dans lesquelles le ou les premiers réactifs et/ou le réactif additionnel produisent une première réaction ou atteignent un état réactionnel désiré, 5) appliquer une force centrifuge sur ladite cuve à réaction afin de faire passer ledit réactif additionnel dans la chambre inférieure, et de le laisser interagir avec le contenu de la chambre inférieure. Les étapes (2) à (5) sont exécutées de manière automatique. Ce procédé permet la mise en oeuvre de plusieurs étapes dans des cuves, sans ouverture de celles-ci. Il est particulièrement indiqué dans le cadre des réactions de PCR.
