Method for coating a non-oxidised stainless steel support plate and a MCFC fuel cell stack provided with a separator plate coated in this way. First a diffusion barrier layer and then a nickel layer are applied to the anode side of said support plate. Said diffusion barrier layer consists of titanium oxide and the adhesion between titanium oxide and the support plate can be improved by providing an adhesion layer.
L'invention concerne un procédé qui consiste à couvrir une plaque support en acier inoxydable non oxydée et un empilement de piles à combustible à base de carbonate fondu d'une plaque séparatrice revêtue de la même manière. On applique d'abord une couche barrière de diffusion puis une couche en nickel sur le côté anode de la plaque support. Ladite couche barrière de diffusion est constituée d'un oxyde de titane, l'adhérence entre l'oxyde de titane et la plaque support pouvant être renforcée par une couche d'adhérence.
