The invention relates to a method for compacting fly ash from a recovery boiler, according to which method the ash is elutriated in a solution being saturated or almost saturated with respect to sodium sulphate, and the slurry obtained is pumped to a horizontal disc pressure filter, where solids are separated from fluid as accurately as possible.
La présente invention a pour objet une méthode pour le compactage de cendres volantes produites par une chaudière de récupération; en vertu de cette invention, les cendres volantes sont élutriées dans une solution saturée ou quasi-saturée de sulfate de sodium , et la boue obtenue est pompée vers un filtre à pression à disque horizontal dans lequel les solides sont séparés du fluide avec un maximum d'efficacité.
