The invention relates to a method for connecting a hollow profile (1) to a two- dimensionally contacting vehicle component (2) by means of soldering. According to the inventive method, a solder (4) is inserted between the hollow profile (1) and the component (2) and is then liquefied by supplying energy so as to form a solid connection between the hollow profile (1) and the component (2) when solidifying. In order to create a simple way of forming a durable soldered joint between the hollow profile (1) and a component (2) that has any design and two-dimensionally rests thereagainst, a cavity (3) is embodied on said component (2), the solder (4) is deposited in said cavity (3), the component (2) is then placed relative to the hollow profile (1) such that the opening (6) of the cavity faces the hollow profile (1), whereupon the cavity zone of the component (2) is impinged upon by electrical resistance in the contacting position, a pressing force being applied to the exterior face (8) of the cavity by means of a resistance welding electrode.
L'invention concerne un procédé pour assembler par brasage un profil creux (1) avec un composant (2) de véhicule, ce composant étant appliqué à plat. Un matériau de brasage (4) est disposé entre le profil creux (1) et le composant (2), puis ce matériau est liquéfié par application d'énergie de façon à assurer une liaison solide entre le profil creux (1) et le composant (2) lorsque le matériau se solidifie. L'objectif de l'invention est de créer de manière simple un joint brasé résistant entre le profil creux (1) et un composant (2) de conception quelconque appliqué à plat sur celui-ci. A cet effet, le composant (2) présente une cavité (3) dans laquelle est déposé le matériau de brasage (4), le composant (2) est ensuite positionné par rapport au profil creux (1) de sorte que l'ouverture (6) de la cavité (3) soit tournée vers celui-ci, puis le composant (2) en position d'appui est soumis à une résistance électrique dans la zone de la cavité, une force de pression étant exercée sur le côté extérieur (8) de la cavité (3) au moyen d'une électrode de soudage par résistance.
