A method for consolidating foundation soils or for lifting very heavy or very large structures requiring the application of a pressure of more than 500 kPa, which consists in injecting into the soil to be consolidated or into the soil below the foundations of the structure to be lifted substances which expand as a consequence of a chemical reaction and are suitable to generate, during expansion, a pressure of more than 500 kPa.

L'invention concerne un procédé permettant de consolider des sols de fondations ou de soulever des structures très grandes et très lourdes nécessitant l'application d'une pression de plus de 500 kPa. Ledit procédé consiste à injecter, dans le sol à consolider ou dans le sol situé sous les fondations de la structure à soulever, des substances qui se détendent suite à une réaction chimique et appropriées pour générer, pendant l'expansion, une pression de plus de 500 kPa.
