METHOD FOR CONTINUOUS COKING OF THE RESIDUE FRACTION. ARISING IN A COAL LIQUEFACTION INSTALLATION ABSTRACT In a method for continuous coking of liquid residue fraction arising in a coal liquefaction instal- lation, approximately at the pressure therein, it is proposed to mix the residue fraction, under increased pressure, with hydrogen and to heat its, externally of the coking facility to approximately to the coking tempera- ture. The heated fraction is then expanded directly in the coking facility. The resulting gases and vapors are removed from the coking zone without further heat treat- ment.
