ABSTRACT The present invention pertains to a system and method for controlling a continuous belt upon which fabrics are mounted to receive successive printings. The invention comprises a continuous belt disposed rotatively around two rollers and injection system for depositing drops of colorant upon the moving belt, and a monitoring system for measuring distances between successively deposited markings, whereby positioning a fabric may be controlled.
