The invention relates to a method and a computer program for controlling a drilling cycle in a rock drilling apparatus, and to a rock drilling apparatus. In accordance with the invention, each drilling unit (7) in the rock drilling appara-tus is monitored during a drilling period, and a drilling sequence of a control unit (10) in the rock drilling apparatus is updated at predetermined intervals during the drilling period. The total time of the drilling and the time elapsed for different operations can be registered. In addition, according to an embodi- ment, the drilling sequence is changed during updating, if changes occur in the drilling conditions during the drilling period.
L'invention concerne un procédé et un programme informatique pour la commande d'un cycle de forage dans un appareil de forage de roche, et un appareil de forage de roche. Selon l'invention, chaque unité de forage (7) de l'appareil de forage de roche est contrôlée pendant une période de forage, et une séquence de forage d'une unité de commande (10) de l'appareil de forage de roche est mise à jour à des intervalles prédéterminés pendant la période de forage. La durée totale du forage et le temps écoulé pour différentes opérations peuvent être enregistrés. Par ailleurs, dans un mode de réalisation, la séquence de forage est modifiée pendant la mise à jour si les conditions de forage changent pendant la période de forage.
