The invention concerns a method for controlling and driving a technical process executed in time by applying at each time t instructions C¿i?(t), leading to a measurable but not observable result R(t) and generating a plurality of observable quantities distinct from the result R(t) whereof at least two are independent G¿j?(t), which consists in: measuring at least two independent observable quantities G¿j?(t), G¿p?(t); with a predictive model M, or a set of models, whereof the variables comprise the at least two independent observable quantities, calculating an estimation R¿es?(t)=M(G¿1?(t), G¿p?(t) of the result R(t); using a drive law L, whereof the input variable is the estimated result R¿es?(t), calculating new instructions C¿i?(t+1), applicable for time t+1; and replacing the instructions [C¿1?(t), C¿n?(t)] by the instructions [C¿1?(t), C¿n?(t+1)]. The invention is applicable to spot welding.
Procédé de contrôle et de commande d'un processus technique s'exécutant dans le temps en appliquant à chaque instant t des consignes Ci(t), conduisant à un résultat R(t) mesurable mais non observable et engendrant une pluralité de grandeurs observables distinctes du résultat R(t) dont au moins deux sont indépendantes Gj(t), selon lequel: on mesure au moins deux grandeurs observables indépendantes G1(t),....Gp(t); à l'aide d'un modèle prédictif M, ou d'un comité de modèles, dont les variables comportent les au moins deux grandeurs observables indépendantes, on calcule une estimation Res(t)=M(G1(t),.....Gp(t)) du résultat R(t); à l'aide d'une loi de commande L, dont la variable d'entrée est le résultat estimé Res(t), on calcule de nouvelles consignes Ci(t+1), applicables pour l'instant t+1; et on remplace les consignes [C1(t),...Cn(t)] par les consignes [C1(t+1),...Cn(t+1)]. Application au soudage par points.
