A method for correcting a folding operation carried out by a folding press, whereby the lower apron thereof contains compensation and deformation actuators wherein a calibration nomogram using very small calibration parts is pre-recorded, said nomogram establishing a correspondence between forces measured on the vertical members and the pressures which can be applied to the compensation actuators in order to maintain the lower apron in a substantially straight manner. During a subsequent folding operation, pressure values resulting from said nomogram are applied to the compensation actuators according to the forces measured on the vertical elements. A bottom dead centre point is recalculated, taking into account the deformation of the upper apron, the deformation of the vertical elements, actual length and thickness of the part, and the spring effect.
Procédé de correction d'une opération de pliage effectuée par une presse-plieuse, dont le tablier inférieur contient des vérins de compensation de déformation, dans lesquels on préenregistre un abaque d'étalonnage au moyen de pièces d~étalonnage très courtes, cet abaque établissant une correspondance entre les forces mesurées au niveau des montants et les pressions applicables aux vérins de compensation pour maintenir le tablier inférieur sensiblement droit. Au cours d'une opération de pliage subséquente, on applique aux vérins de compensation des valeurs de pression résultant de cet abaque, en fonction des forces mesurées au niveau des montants. On recalcule un point mort bas en tenant compte de la déformation du tablier supérieur, de la déformation des montants, de la longueur et de l'épaisseur réelles de la pièce, et de l'effet de ressort.
