A method for creating decorative treatment arrangements for a selected area utilizes a relatively flat, elongated multi- apertured support device. First a plurality of sections of material of a first length are each folded and passed through respective apertures in the support device, with the folded portion of each section lying immediately adjacent its respective aperture. The material in selected folded portions are artistically arranged to form decorative shapes. The support device is then mounted in a vertical plane in front of the area to be decorated with the decorative shapes facing away therefrom.
