The invention relates to a method for curing a binder on a fibre insulation (108), consisting in flowing a hot gas according to a rate ratio between an upward flowing in said fibre insulation (108) and a downward flowing therein in order to heat the binder to a curing temperature thereof and in cooling said binder in such a way that at least one part thereof is cured to a thermoset state thereof. If a part of the binder is not yet cured, another binder heating stage carried out at a rate ratio between the hot gases and followed by cooling is used for curing the reminder of the binder.
