The invention relates to a method for cutting a planar printing plane. The invention belongs to the field of cutting a planar printing plane, such as a sheet or a plate, following a pattern previously printed on said printing substrate. The method comprises: detecting (155) at least one sequence of points characteristic of the geometry of a cutting outline on the basis of cutting marks; allocating (156) each detected characteristic point to at least one cutting outline; searching characteristic elements (outline edge, outline corner) of said outline on the basis of the characteristic points; and translating (164) the cutting outline into vectorial information for generating a cutting program of at least one cutting outline.
La présente invention concerne un procédé pour découper un support d'impression plan. Elle appartient au domaine de la découpe d'un support d'impression plan, tel qu'une feuille ou une plaque, autour d'au moins un motif préalablement imprimé sur ce support d'impression. Le procédé consiste : - à détecter (155) au moins une séquence de points caractéristiques de la géométrie d'un contour de découpe sur la base des marques de découpe; - à affecter (156) chaque point caractéristique détecté à au moins un contour de découpe; - à rechercher des éléments caractéristiques (bord de contour, coin de contour) dudit contour sur la base desdits points caractéristiques, puis - à traduire (164) le contour de découpe en informations vectorielles pour générer un programme de découpe d'au moins un contour de découpe.
