A method for wrapping a stack of rectangular photographic light-sensitive sheets in a lightproof package and for loading them in daylight in a lightproof cabinet arranged for opening said wrapped stack to free the light-sensitive sheets for further treatment. The method includes the steps of: wrapping photographic light- sensitive sheets in a wrapper formed of two lightproof wrapping foils and sealing said wrapper with a first peripheral lightproof closure spaced outwardly from the four edges of the stack of sheets; providing said wrapper with a clamping, second peripheral lightproof closure located between the first closure and the perimeter of the stack of sheets; opening the first closure in daylight and loading the wrapped stack of sheets while still closed by the second closure in the opened cabinet; and closing said cabinet to make it lightproof, unclamping the second closure and removing the wrapping foil lying on top of the stack of sheets to free them for further processing.
L'invention concerne une méthode d'emballage d'une pile de feuilles rectangulaires de papier photographique sensible à la lumière dans un emballage protecteur. Elle porte également sur la façon de charger les feuilles, à la lumière du jour, dans une armoire noire permettant de déballer la pile de feuilles sensibles à la lumière à des fins de traitement ultérieur. La méthode comprend les étapes suivantes : envelopper les feuilles de papier photographique sensible à la lumière dans un papier d'emballage formé de deux feuilles métalliques protectrices et fermer ce dernier de façon étanche au moyen d'une fermeture périphérique à l'épreuve de la lumière placée à une certaine distance des quatre bords de la pile; créer sur l'emballage une seconde fermeture périphérique de serrage à l'épreuve de la lumière placée entre la première fermeture et le périmètre de la pile de feuilles; ouvrir la première fermeture à la lumière du jour et charger dans l'armoire ouverte la pile de feuilles emballée toujours tenue fermée par la seconde fermeture; fermer l'armoire en question pour la rendre obscure; desserrer la seconde fermeture et retirer les feuilles métalliques d'emballage reposant sur le dessus de la pile pour en libérer les feuilles à des fins de traitement ultérieur.
