A sensitive and accurate tissue culture system and kit for detecting subtle changes in immune function is provided. The system is based on the comparison of IL-2 production by T helper cells in response to recall antigens including influenza A virus, tetanus toxoid, alloantigens, mouse xenogeneic antigens and the like or combinations thereof. Different stages of immune dysfunction can be differentiated and organ graft rejection can be predicted by the method of the present invention.

Système de culture tissulaire sensible et précis et matériel de détection de changements subtils intervenant dans la fonction immunitaire. Le système se base sur la comparaison de la production de IL-2 par des lymphocytes T auxiliaires en réponse à des antigènes de rappel parmi lesquels le virus A de la grippe, l'anatoxine tétanique, des alloantigènes, des antigènes xénogènes de souris et analogues ou des combinaisons de ces derniers. On peut différencier différents stades de dysfonctionnement immunitaire et on peut prédire le rejet de greffe d'organe grâce au procédé de l'invention.
