A method of determining the presence or absence of the breeding of eating/damaging insects for determining whether eating/damaging insects eating/damaging crops are bred or not in the crops to be determined stored in a storage facility, comprising a first step for disposing an insect catching device for catching eating/damaging insects in the storage facility and leaving it undisturbed for a specified period and a second step for determining, after the first step, whether the eating/damaging insects are bred or not in the crops based on the caught state of the eating/damaging insects by the insect catching device. The insect catching device comprises a pedestal not allowing water or oil to be permeated therethrough, a porous base material disposed on one surface of the pedestal and capable of retaining water or oil, and the water or oil retained on the porous base material.
L'invention concerne un procédé permettant de détecter la présence ou l'absence de développement d'insectes ravageurs/nuisibles afin de déterminer si des insectes ravageurs/nuisibles qui dévorent/endommagent les cultures se développent dans les cultures destinées à être stockées dans une installation de stockage. Ce procédé comprend une première étape consistant à disposer un piège à insectes afin d'attraper les insectes ravageurs/nuisibles présents dans l'installation de stockage et à le laisser en place pendant une période déterminée, et une seconde étape consistant à déterminer si des insectes ravageurs/nuisibles se multiplient ou non dans les cultures à partir de la présence d'insectes ravageurs/nuisibles dans le piège. Le piège à insectes comprend un socle imperméable à l'eau et à l'huile, un matériau de base poreux disposé sur une des surfaces de ce socle, et capable de retenir l'eau ou l'huile, et de l'eau ou de l'huile retenue dans ce matériau de base poreux.
