According to the invention, an image (4) with a form (6) of the object is recorded, for the purpose of measuring the direction to said object, the further surveying of which will follow. In order to achieve an optimum stability for the above for rapid changes to the object position, the capabilities of modern image sensors are used to analyse or download only a part of the available pixels. A selection of analysed image information, as above, uses information about the required measurement accuracy and the time performance of the image sensor. According to the invention, such a limitation to the downloaded information can be achieved by the selection of a partial region (7b) of the image (4) by the combination of a sub-sampling with a sub- windowing. A selection of image points for downloading within the partial region (7a) of the image (4) can thus be achieved by means of targeted omission.
A des fins de mesure directionnelle par rapport à un objet devant faire l'objet d'autres mesures, une image (4) contenant un échantillon (6) de l'objet est enregistrée par un capteur d'image. L'objectif de cette invention est d'atteindre une stabilité optimale par rapport à des changements de position rapides de l'objet. A cet effet, l'aptitude de capteurs d'image modernes est utilisée pour l'évaluation et l'extraction de seulement certaines parties des pixels présents. Une sélection en ce sens optimisée des données d'image évaluées fait appel à des données concernant la précision de mesure requise et le comportement dans le temps du capteur d'image. Selon ladite invention, une telle limitation des données d'image extraites peut être effectuée par la sélection de seulement une zone partielle (7b) de l'image (4), en combinant un sous-échantillonnage à un sous-fenêtrage. Ainsi, une sélection de points d'image à extraire est effectuée à l'intérieur de la zone partielle (7b) de l'image (4) par une suppression ciblée.
