There are methods for the signalling of a faulty pattern of use of an electric toothbrush to a user, wherein the electric toothbrush comprises a drive shaft for coupling to a brush part, an electric motor and a drive for providing a first motion and a second motion of the drive shaft, wherein the drive is arranged such that the second motion is interrupted when a predetermined contact pressure is exceeded. This state is signalled to the user by activating an electric switch connected to a warning light. It is thus an object of the present invention to provide a method and a toothbrush allowing a simplified determination of a pattern of use of an electric toothbrush. This may be achieved by modification of the above method such that it contains the steps: measuring a characteristic parameter of the electric motor, detecting a distinctive change of the characteristic parameter, and evaluating the distinctive change.
L'invention concerne des procédés pour signaler un méthode d'utilisation incorrecte d'une brosse à dents électrique à un utilisateur. La brosse à dents électrique comprend un arbre d'entraînement destiné à s'accoupler à une partie brosse, un moteur électrique et un module d'entraînement destiné à animer l'arbre d'entraînement d'un premier mouvement et d'un second mouvement, le module d'entraînement étant conçu de manière à interrompre le second mouvement en cas de dépassement d'une pression de contact prédéfinie. Cette situation est signalée à l'utilisateur par activation d'un commutateur électrique relié à un indicateur lumineux. L'invention a donc pour objet un procédé et une brosse à dents associée, le procédé permettant de déterminer de façon simplifiée une méthode d'utilisation d'une brosse à dents électrique. A cet effet, le procédé susmentionné est modifié de sorte qu'il comprend les étapes consistant: à mesurer un paramètre caractéristique du moteur électrique; à détecter une modification particulière du paramètre caractéristique et à évaluer la modification particulière.
