The invention relates to a method for determining foaming behaviour of a liquid by means of a gas, which comprises supplying the gas to an amount of the substantially gas-free liquid to form a foam and analysing one or more properties of the foam, wherein the gas is supplied through a grid provided with holes having a diameter of 25 to 100 µm, which holes are located at a mutual distance of 5 to 15 times the diameter of the holes.

L'invention porte sur une technique permettant de déterminer le comportement moussant d'un liquide à l'aide d'un gaz. Cette technique consiste à introduire le gaz dans une certaine quantité d'un liquide sensiblement dépourvu de gaz de façon à former de la mousse puis à étudier une ou plusieurs propriétés de cette mousse. Dans le cadre de cette invention, le gaz est amené à travers une grille pourvue de trous d'un diamètre compris entre 25 et 100 µm, les trous se trouvant placés selon des intervalles ayant entre 5 et 15 fois leur diamètre.
