A method for developing thick beds of minerals accomplished by large-section rooms, comprising preparation of the room for winning which consists in executing a conveyer working below the soil of the room tothe entire length thereof, driving transport and fan drifts and raises, inclined working to fit the design contour of the room. The winning is effected in horizontal layers in a descending order by forward and reverse movements of the cutter-loader, each said layer is developed by stopes throughout the entire length of the room overlapping the cutter-loader movements. The first stope in each layer is developed in the range of raises, and subsequent - in the direction from the first stope toward the eges of the room. Extraction of subsequent layers starts from the soil of the preceding layer by deepening the cutter-loader to a layer underneath to the height of its actuator. In the end part of the room within the limits of one stope there is formed an inclined descent to a layer below which is then suppressed while developing this layer opened by this descent. The inclined working is opened in each layer by developing extreme movement. The mineral is upplied to the raises and passed to the conveyer working.
Exploitation de gisements épais de minérai au moyen de la méthode d'exploitation par vastes chambres. Elle comprend la préparation de la chambre en vue de l'extraction, ce qui consiste à pratiquer une galerie pour convoyeur sous le chantier sur toute sa longueur, à creuser des galeries de transport et d'aérage et des montages, à réaliser une galerie inclinée s'adaptant à la forme de la chambre. L'extraction se fait par tranches horizontales descendantes à la suite de déplacements vers l'avant et vers l'arrière de la haveuse-chargeuse; chaque tranche est extraite dans des chantiers sur toute la longueur de la chambre surplombant les déplacements de la haveuse-chargeuse. Le premier chantier d'abattage de chaque couche est exploité près des montages, et les autres - dans la direction allant du premier chantier vers les bords de la chambre. L'extraction des tranches subséquentes commence à partir du niveau de la couche précédente en descendant la haveuse-chargeuse jusqu'à une tranche plus basse que le dispositif de commande de la machine. A l'extrémité de la chambre, à l'intérieur des limites d'un chantier, une descente inclinée est formée et celle-ci va jusqu'à une tranche inférieure; cette descente est ensuite éliminée pendant l'extraction de la tranche qu'elle a rendue accessible. La descente inclinée est ouverte dans chaque tranche en effectuant des déplacements complets de la haveuse-chargeuse. Le minérai est fourni aux montages et envoyé à la galerie pour convoyeur.
