A process for dewatering of BCTMP/CTMP sludge, wherein said sludge comprises at least secondary sludge and primary sludge comprising bleached chemi-thermal mechanical pulp (BCTMP) waste or chemi-thermal mechanical pulp (CTMP) waste, comprising the steps of: a) adding a polyethylene oxide to said sludge, wherein said polyethylene oxide can be added before or after or simultaneous with the addition of cationic polyacrylamide; and b) adding cationic polyacrylamide and urea hydrogen peroxide to said sludge, wherein said cationic polyacrylamide is added to said sludge simultaneous with the addition of said urea hydrogen peroxide; and c) mechanically separating said solids from said water.
Divulgation d'un procédé de déshydratation de boues de type PCTMB/PCTM, dans lequel lesdites boues contiennent au moins des boues secondaires et des boues primaires constituées de déchets de pâte chimico-thermomécanique blanchie (PCTMB) ou de pâte chimico-thermomécanique (PCTM). Ce procédé comprend les étapes suivantes : a) addition d'un poly(oxyde d'éthylène) auxdites boues, ledit poly(oxyde d'éthylène) pouvant être ajouté avant, après ou en même temps que l'addition d'un polyacrylamide cationique; b) addition d'un polyacrylamide cationique et de peroxyde d'urée auxdites boues, ledit polyacrylamide cationique etant ajouté auxdites boues en même temps que ledit peroxyde d'urée; c) séparation mécanique desdits solides et de l'eau.
