Abstract of the Disclosure The present invention provides a method for dewaxing hydrocarbon oil characterized by bringing hydrocarbon oil into contact with a catalyst comprising crystalline aluminosilicate prepared by maintaining a gelled reaction mixture consisting of a silica source, an alumina source, an alkali source, water, and an organic compound under hydrothermal synthetic condition with a ratio of composition expressed by molar ratio as follows: SiO2/A?2O3 = 10 - 300 H2O /SiO2 = 5 - 100 OH? /SiO2 = 0.01 - 1.0 R /A?2O3 ? 0.05 wherein R is the above organic compound, and a fluorine compound.
