The present invention describes a method for diagnosing tumours of the reproductive organs which is characterised by determination of the afamin content in a sample of a body fluid or in a tissue sample, wherein a tumour is diagnosed if the afamin content in the sample is decreased compared to the afamin content in a sample from a person without a tumour of the reproductive organs.

La présente invention concerne une méthode de diagnostic de tumeurs des organes reproducteurs. Ladite méthode est caractérisée par la détermination du contenu d'afamine dans un échantillon d'un liquide organique ou dans un échantillon tissulaire, une tumeur étant diagnostiquée si le contenu d'afamine dans l'échantillon diminue en comparaison au contenu d'afamine dans un échantillon prélevé chez une personne qui ne présente pas une tumeur des organes reproducteurs.
