Provided is a method for easily discriminating that a disc is a blank disc that conforms to the DVD Download standards. An optical disc device is provided with a first identifying means (4) which identifies disc information written in a lead-in zone of an optical disc (1); a second identifying means (4) which identifies that there is no data recorded in the data zone of the optical disc (1); and a discriminating means (5) which discriminates that the optical disc is a blank disc that conforms to the DVD Download standards, based on output from the first identifying means and output which is outputted from the second identifying means and indicating that there is no data recorded.
La présente invention concerne un procédé permettant de reconnaître facilement qu'un disque est un disque vierge conforme aux normes de téléchargement de DVD. Un dispositif à disque optique est pourvu d'un premier organe d'identification (4) qui reconnaît l'information de disque enregistrée dans la zone d'amorce d'un disque optique (1), d'un second organe d'identification (4) qui reconnaît qu'il n'y a pas de données enregistrées dans la zone de données du disque optique (1), et d'un organe de reconnaissance (5) qui reconnaît que le disque optique est un disque vierge conforme aux normes de téléchargement de DVD, et ce, sur la base d'une sortie en provenance du premier organe d'identification, et d'une sortie en provenance du second organe d'identification et indiquant qu'il n'y a pas de données enregistrées.
