The invention relates to a method for dispersing an alkyd resin in water using a polymer having associative hydrophobic groups. The formulations thus obtained can then be used for making an aqueous-phase alkyd paint without any need for surfactants or solvents.

L'invention consiste en un procédé de mise en dispersion dans l'eau d'une résine alkyde, au moyen d'un polymère disposant de groupements hydrophobes associatifs. Les formulations obtenues permettent alors de fabriquer une peinture alkyde en phase aqueuse, sans avoir recours à des tensio-actifs ou à des solvants.
