The invention concerns an improved method for distilling ammonia from a mixture, more particularly a mixture derived from the reaction between an aminonitrile and water (reaction also referred to as cyclizing hydrolysis). More precisely, the invention concerns a method for distilling ammonia contained in an aqueous caprolactam solution, characterised in that it consists in distilling by means of a column, having a base temperature not more than 160 ·C and under absolute pressure not more than 5 bar, the distilled ammonia at the column top being compressed under pressure not less than 10 bar, then condensed at a temperature ranging from 25 ·C to 60 ·C.
La présente invention concerne un procédé perfectionné de distillation d'ammoniac à partir d'un mélange, plus particulièrement d'un mélange issu de la réaction entre un aminonitrile et l'eau (réaction aussi appelée hydrolyse cyclisante). Plus précisément l'invention consiste en un procédé de distillation de l'ammoniac contenu dans une solution aqueuse de caprolactame, caractérisé en ce que l'on distille à l'aide d'une colonne, avec une température en pied inférieure ou égale à 160 ~C et sous une pression absolue inférieure ou égale à 5 bar, l'ammoniac distillé en tête de colonne étant comprimé sous une pression supérieure ou égale à 10 bar, puis condensé à une température de 25 ~C à 60 ~C.
