The invention relates to a method for drying pourable particulate products, using a device with a rotor chamber, in which a rotor is arranged with a vertical rotor axis, the rotor having a central horizontal surface and, at least in its radially outer third, a cone shell which is inclined to the axis of rotation by 20° to 70°, in such a way that the end face of the cone shell having the larger diameter is located at the top, and the cone shell having, at least partially, sheet like gas passages in the form of perforations or screens. The dry gas is fed in a sheet like manner to the products to be dried during the radially peripheral circulation of the latter, without said products at the same time being swirled up and being exposed to inadmissible compressive, concussive and/or frictional loads.
L'invention concerne un dispositif pour le séchage de produits aptes à l'écoulement, comprenant une chambre à rotor (1) dans laquelle est disposé un rotor (4) à axe vertical (3), le rotor (2) présentant une surface horizontale centrale et au moins, dans son tiers extérieur radial, une enveloppe conique (22), inclinée de 20 DEG à 70 DEG par rapport à l'axe de rotation, de telle façon que la face frontale de l'enveloppe conique (22) se trouve avec le plus grand diamètre en haut, ladite enveloppe conique (22) présentant des moyens de soufflage de gaz, au moins partiellement plans, sous forme de perforations ou de tamis. Le procédé selon l'invention utilise le dispositif précité. A cet effet, le gaz de séchage est amené, à plat, dans les produits à sécher, durant leur recirculation radiale-périphérique, sans que ceux-ci soient soulevés en tourbillons et sans qu'ils soient exposés à des contraintes inacceptables de pression, de choc et/ou de frottement.
