14 Abstract of the Disclosure The invention relates to a method for drying wooden products and solves the problem of providing such a method which is very economical and allows continuous control of the drying process. According to the invention the products are dried inside a closed chamber and there exposed to microwave ener- gy which heats the interior of the products thus causing the moisture to migrate to the external surfaces of the products where it is absorbed by the air which is then dehumidified. The temperature and moisture content of the chamber atmosphere are continuously controlled.
