Abstract of the Disclosure A cellulose fiber derivative is provided, along with methods of its production, in order to give color features to cellulose fiber compositions while using disperse dyes. The cellulose fiber derivative, including cellulose fiber, with an acyl group of formula Image wherein X1, X2, Y1, Y2 and Z are selected individually from the group consisting of hydrogen, halogen, alkyl, nitro, methoxy, phenylazo or amino, introduced into said cellulose fiber through chemical reaction with the hydroxyl groups of said cellulose fiber to the extent of a substitution degree of more than 0.10 based on the fabric weight before and after treatment.
