A process for electroplating metallic or non-metal- lic continuous products with metals or alloys in a continu- ous process from aprotic electrolytes free of water and oxygen, wherein the continuous product is passed through a lock system (1) into an encapsulated coating plant under inert gas atmosphere, and the following steps are performed at temperatures of <=120°C: - activating the continuous product to be coated; - rinsing the continuous product to be coated; - contacting the continuous product to be coated; - electroplating the continuous product to be coated us- ing a metal or metal alloy; - drying the coated continuous product; - discharge of the coated continuous product from the plant through a lock system. The invention is also directed to a device for per- forming said process.

Procédé de revêtement électrolytique de produits continus métalliques ou non métalliques, par des métaux ou alliages, selon un processus en continu, au moyen d'électrolytes aprotiques exempts d'eau et d'oxygène, caractérisé en ce que le produit continu est dirigé, via un système de sas (1) dans une installation de revêtement blindée, sous atmosphère de gaz inerte, dans laquelle on effectue les étapes ci-après, à des températures inférieures ou égales à 120 DEG C: activation du produit continu à revêtir, rinçage du produit continu à revêtir, mise en contact du produit continu à revêtir, revêtement électrolytique du produit continu par des métaux ou alliages métalliques, séchage du produit continu revêtu, sortie de l'installation du produit continu revêtu, via un système de sas. L'invention concerne en outre un dispositif pour la mise en oeuvre de ce procédé.
